18th SG MTBO CUP and NATIONALS

It's now a very well know tradition that Orientacijski klub Slovenj Gradec organizes a spring 2-days MTBO event in our hometown. This is the event that caused a now common opinion (and expectation) that Slovenj Gradec races are "expect-the-unexpected" when we come to the weather and temperatures. Usualy held in mid-april, we've had many races in very low temepratures, rain and even snow. We're sure that many of you remember the epic long distance race with exactly this kind of weather in 2019... However, we will never forget your happy faces during and after the race despite extreme conditions...
This year we've decided to combine SG MTBO cup with World Championship. Saturday's long distance and Sunday's sprint qualified for a combined medal for 18th Cup of Slovenj Gradec. Sunday's race was also a National Championship for MTBO SPRINT discipline.
Yes, a lot was going on. That is why almost 400 competitors sprinted across Slovenj Gradec on Sunday. What a day!
